Very close by we have towns called Paradise, Promised Land, Garden of Eden, Gentle Annie, Nowhere Else, and Nook (true!).
We are only 20 mins drive from the Devonport Airport & Ferry terminals.
We are a convenient central base from which to explore numerous beautiful and world famous local attractions.
We can direct you to places that only local knowledge would allow. Ask us for our hidden gems.
Please note: we are no longer a pet-friendly accommodation. Our resident animals (including one very opinionated cat and a flock of free-range chickens) have exclusive roaming rights.

The Blue Room

This room has a view of Mt Roland and also overlooks the pond and rose garden. A large room where we can arrange a pull-out single bed for an extra adult or child (12+ years). This room has a beautiful antique wardrobe.

The Brown Room

The other original large bedroom, it has a view over the front garden and the 100-year old pepper tree. There is a built-in wardrobe and this room is large enough to accommodate a single pull-out bed for an extra adult/child (12+ years).

The Red Room

The main bedroom of the farmhouse. It has a bay window seat with comfy cushions, and overlooks the front garden. The room is bright and airy, with a side window view of Mt Roland. This room has a beautiful antique wardrobe.

The Green Room

This is our smallest room. Very comfortable with room for a chair, a built-in wardrobe and luggage rack. It has a view of Mt Roland and overlooks the pond and rose garden. A very cosy room in winter.

Note: Our property is NOT suited to children under the age of 12.

Please drive carefully when you are on the property, as there are numerous free roaming animals on the grounds, e.g. cat, dogs, ducks, chickens… thanks!

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 5 days notice, prior to your arrival date, is required for cancellation or changes to your booking and in the case of cancellation your deposit will be fully refunded.
If less than 5 days notice is given then deposit may not be refundable. If less than than 48 hrs notice is given then deposit will not refunded and full price will be charged.
Last minute bookings made within 48 hrs of arrival are not refundable.

We are situated at 1468 Sheffield Road (B14) Barrington , right on the main road just out of the Mural Town of Sheffield.

Glencoe Country B&B is a mere 30 minutes away from the Ferry service in Devonport, Devonport Airport and coastal bus services; 60 minutes drive from Launceston, and a short 40 minute cruise from the natural beauty of the Tasmanian Wilderness National Parks.
