Meet The Boss (aka Howard, our rescue house cat) and, when he feels like it, he will let you bring your furry friend or even your horse.
We have a fully-fenced dog yard to keep your dog safe, as well as a paddock for you to let your horse roam freely. Small, house-trained pets are allowed inside the rooms (sorry, no horses inside!). See our Cradle Mountain hotel reviews and feedback from our previous visitors below.
Just let us know prior to your stay how many fur babies you are bringing. We can accommodate most domestic pets in our guest house as well as some who can stay outside on our property. We love animals of all shapes and sizes here! Our difference is that we go the extra mile to try and make your stay just as you like it. Don’t just take our word for it.
If you don’t have any pets of your own, we have plenty of farm and domestic animals that love to be petted, fed, photographed and loved. Of course, permission from The Boss is required!

- Our legendary chef Naomi, who has worked alongside Maggie Beer, has been a chef for over 20 years and just loves to prepare you a breakfast to remember.
- We are inspired by the paddock to plate concept – our product comes from our own yard. The eggs are collected each morning from the free-range chickens roaming our grounds. It really can’t get any fresher!
- You’ll get a hearty full cooked or continental breakfast to keep you going until lunchtime. Plenty of energy is required for those who like to be active or make the trek to the summit of Mount Roland.
- We accommodate early risers or those on early adventures. We’ll make sure you never leave on an empty stomach!
