Of course we also do a continental breakfast if you prefer. Find good food in Cradle Mountain; we are inspired by the paddock-to-plate concept and if we are not able to produce it directly from Glencoe Country, we try our hardest to source local ingredients from around our area.

The milk comes from Ashgrove just up the road, the eggs are collected each morning from our free-range chickens roaming our grounds and bread is baked either in our own kitchen, or from a local supplier if we cannot make it here.

By prior arrangement our chef, Naomi, is available to cook a delicious 3- course meal which you can enjoy by the toasty fire, or under the stars in our large garden while taking in the beautiful surrounding countryside views. For good food in Cradle Mountain… look no further!

If you arrive late and unable to get a meal, a small selection of meals are available at Glencoe. These can be prepared while you settle into your room and refresh after a full day of adventure or travel.

Naomi’s love of cooking came from her mother and grandmother which developed into a passion for Paddock-to-Plate cooking which celebrates using local, seasonal produce and the whole animal, from nose to tail.

Below is a sample breakfast menu – some really good food in Cradle Mountain. It’ll give you an idea what we may have for your breakfast, but it will depend on seasonal supplies.

For those who have food allergies or require a special diet eg. dairy free, gluten free, Coeliac diet, or similar – feel free to email us or call us.

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 5 days notice, prior to your arrival date, is required for cancellation or changes to your booking and in the case of cancellation your deposit will be fully refunded.
If less than 5 days notice is given then deposit may not be refundable. If less than than 48 hrs notice is given then deposit will not refunded and full price will be charged.
Last minute bookings made within 48 hrs of arrival are not refundable.
