Meet The Boss (aka Howard, our rescue house cat) and, when he feels like it, he will let you into his furry world.

PLEASE NOTE: we are no longer a pet-friendly accommodation. Our resident animals (including The Boss, who is very opinionated, and a flock of free-range chickens) have exclusive roaming rights.

We have plenty of farm and domestic animals that love to be petted, fed, photographed and loved. Of course, permission from The Boss is required!

We embrace a paddock-to-plate philosophy, using fresh seasonal produce from our garden wherever possible and sourcing locally when not. Our free-range eggs and home-baked croissants are guest favourites.

Choose from a hearty full cooked or continental breakfast — the perfect way to fuel a day exploring North West Tasmania or heading toward Mount Roland.

Early start? Just let us know. We’ll make sure you don’t leave on an empty stomach.

Glencoe operates as a traditional bed and breakfast, with our focus dedicated to delivering a quality breakfast experience each morning. We do not provide regular evening dinner service, however we are always happy to recommend excellent local dining options in Sheffield and surrounding areas.

  • Check in: after 2.00pm – if arriving “really late” please advise us!
  • Check out: 10.00am

Note: Our property is NOT suited to children under the age of 12.

Please drive carefully when you are on the property, as there are numerous free roaming animals on the grounds, e.g. cat, dogs, ducks, chickens… thanks!

  • A minimum of 5 days notice, prior to your arrival date, is required for cancellation or changes to your booking and in the case of cancellation your deposit will be fully refunded.
  • If less than 5 days notice is given then deposit may not be refundable. If less than than 48 hrs notice is given then deposit will not refunded and full price will be charged.
  • Last minute bookings made within 48 hrs of arrival are not refundable.
